Photography:

In partnership with XUL Architects and Innerspace London this home in North was reconfigured to allow for better circulation and light. A key part of this was to open views from the front door to the garden and install rooftop skylights to flood the space with light. The master bedroom was relocated to the top floor with walk in wardrobe and en-suite. The bath was situated centre stage under the dormer window and curved ceiling, and a steam shower was installed together with a traditional type. The middle floor then became bedrooms for the children and guests. In the ‘industrial look’ kitchen, we a polished concrete floor, with clever use of plywood, terracotta lamps and pots and greenery throughout. The room was filled with light from two sides and had a view to the front door. Reclaimed wood was used for the flooring to the Living room of this stunning refurbished home.
